Yogyakarta city is the capital of the Yogyakarta Special Region. Its renowned as a centre of education, classical javanese art and culture such as batik, ballet drama, traditional music, poetry and puppet shows. Yogyakarta has a kingdom named Kasultanan Ngayogyakarto Hadiningrat, currently headed by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X who is also the Governor of Yogyakarta Province.
Day 01 : Arrival Yogyakarta – Ratu Boko sunset
Arrive at Yogyakarta airport / Yogyakarta train station, meet and greet with our guide and drive to Kraton Ratu Boko –located 196 m above sea level. On the highest point in the site, there is a small pavilion – where you can see the beautiful sunset panoramic view of Prambanan temple with Mount Merapi as the back ground.

Day 02 : Yogyakarta city tour
This morning, explore deep about Yogyakarta city area using local transportation called – “becak” (pedicap). Passing through Tugu monumen, Yogyakarta main train station, Malioboro street, Beringharjo traditional market – Vedeburg fort.
From here direct to Kraton– is the main seat Sultan of Yogyakarta and his family. There will be a live culture performace everday (from 1000 – 1200). 2km to the south, located Taman Sari – is the site of a former royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. And the last, visiting Sonobudoyo Museum – where Indonesian culture history museum with masks, weapon, and other artifacts.

Day 03 : Kota Gede –Batik making process
This morning visiting a history neighborhood in Yogyakarta – Kota Gede. It contains the remains of the first capital of Mataram Sultanate, establised in the 16th century. Some of the remains of the old Kotagede are remains of the palace, the royal cemetery, the royal mosque, defensive walls, moats and its famous by silver crafting.
And continue with batik making process.

Day 04 : Borobudur sunrise – Prambanan temple
Morning call at 3.30am, continue to Borobudur temple for have the beautiful sunrise. Formerly 1 of 7 wonder world, the biggest Buddhist temple in the world, UNESCO World’s heritage, with a local guide we would see 1460 relief panels and 504 Buddha effigies in its complex.
Transfer to Prambanan Temple complex, Worlds heritage, the tallest stone’s Hindus temple in the worlds, 47 m. It was built in the 10th century, this is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia.
Back to your hotel for take a rest.
In the evening, enjoy your Ramayana ballet performance at Prambanan temple area. It offers a theatrical and musical experience about ancient Indian epic poem which narrates the struggle of the divine prince Rama to rescue his wife Sita from the demon king Ravana. Along with the Mahabharata, it forms the Sanskrit Itihasa.
